Sitting at the bar tonight and Anthony is my server bar tender. Starting off with the fish tacos and a sweet hot drink. The fish tacos lacking in seasoning and on the bland side. Beans were tasty but again the rice was bland and I left it on the plate.
Next up the ribs and the second drink sweet and hot with half salt half spice oh ya.
The ribs are a 5 star but the paring with a thanksgiving dinner sweet potato missed the mark. What to pair with these ribs not sure but I can tell you 100% it’s not this sweet potato dish. Watching Anthony work behind the bar has been the highlight of the meal. He’s meticulous and I’m watching him sample his drinks with a cocktail straw to make sure his drinks are on mark. Several times I seen him fix something before sending it out and you got to respect that.
Over all I give my bar service and experience
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my 1st visit to this location - have been to the original location in Lewes numerous times over the years - I consider Lewes location a high end Mexican/American fusion and it always merited the high prices.

The Rehoboth location is a very large space and feels like a big box type restaurant upon 1st entering - almost feels a but sterile and a way different vibe than the original.

Our server was phenomenal - she was very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and super helpful. Excellent customer service!

Food prices are high - way high. $17.50 for wings seems outlandish - the most expensive price I have seen around. The flavors of the food are very hit and miss and a bit confused. The mole wings were bland and over sauced. The pupusas were interesting and good - definitely not authentic (pupusas are not mexican) but definitely creative and flavorful - we tried both and I would recommend- but don't expect authentic Salvadoran flavors. The salsa trio was very good - impressed with the flavors, and while you pay for the salsa, it's super worth it (flavor & quality), and they are happy to refill the chips. $22 for tamales is highway robbery.

Overall, the portions are large, and the food was good - but not for the cost. There are too many restaurants that have better pricing/value for better flavored food. Maybe portion down the plates to make it less expensive? Not everything has to be super-sized.

This place is absolutely amazing! Best Mexican food that I have ever had! We have the chips and fresh guacamole, a variety of the appetizers, burritos, and quesadillas! The Mexican corn on the cob is out of this world! It was all very fresh, authentic Mexican food! Service was spot on, and the food came out in a timely manner. All of the staff and servers were friendly and very accommodating. I’ll definitely be back to Agave!
