Stayed at this hotel for a recent conference and the food catered by the hotel was excellent. Lots of variety for breakfast and lunch and all the staff working were amazing and friendly. The hotel itself is dated but is in an excellent location with water front views of the ocean and in close proximity to the boardwalk, numerous restaurants and quaint shops. The rooms are a bit of an odd layout as you walk into the bedroom portion as you directly enter the room and the lounging area is near the window. This led to a lot of noise from the hallway while sleeping. The rooms are very spacious but my only gripe was that the showers weren’t very clean and I had to rinse away a lot of hair from the previous users before getting in which was really unsanitary feeling. Still a great location and a great place to host or attend a conference or wedding.

Avoid. The TVs don't work well, the power outlets don't work well, the water pressure is too low, the WiFi is super slow, the coffee machine doesn't work, the fire alarm system went off multiple times over night — one at 10pm, another at 11pm, and then one at 5am — just what you want on vacation, right? The staff just seemed complacent. Also, some others complained about the building's fire safety. Very low standards and not worth the price at all. Not from here, so maybe this is just how it is around here. Seems like people consider the view of the beach good relative to other options here, but I would prefer not to see the power lines, the parking lot, and the pizza place on the corner in my field of view.

Room was clean, but in need of repairs and renovating. Some furniture broken. Minimal water pressure in shower. Make sure you’re getting a renovated room that’s being advertised. Also, I paid for an oceanfront room - we were on the second floor directly in front of the pool. Just do your research first before you book. Location was great with off street parking, but that’s about it. Staff was nice though!
