To be very clear, this is not a 5 star hotel. It’s a no frills, pretty basic spot but the staff were all some of the nicest people ever and do their best to accommodate guests while being incredibly welcoming. The beds definitely could be better but that’s really my only complaint. The rooms are clean, the location couldn’t be better (access to shopping and restaurants and about 2 blocks straight down to beach) having a parking spot is a dream and the rooftop pool was the biggest hit with the kids (I know it’s the beach but I’m so surprised more people don’t rave about this pool). We met a number of guests who said that they’ve come back to stay here every year for many years and I can understand why. It’s not luxury but for the price it can’t be beat.

5 stars for the lady and gentleman that worked the front desk. Friendly and so helpful!

Room was clean, beds were comfortable. AC was amazing (it was extremely hot out). There was people above us and we couldn't here anything in our room. Only reason we knew they were there is when we went out to our car. Which we really liked the peace and quiet.

The location was right little under two blocks from boardwalk. Parking was great for even if you have a full-size truck.

Our only complaint is they have the tiny short toilets. But that is easy to forget with value, service, cleanliness and location.

Location is great and that’s a large reason we chose to bring the kids this time after a good experience on a couple’s getaway weekend last year.
Unfortunately the pool was shutdown for renovation the entire 2 night/3 day stay. Management admitted to never notifying guests if this scheduled renovation that required city permits and inspections. They were combative and rude at the front desk stating hotels do this all of the time. There was no secondary pool option for our summer vacation stay. They laughed when asked about a discounted rate due to a listed amenity not being available. 2 of 3 managers were directly and purposely rude in the hospitality business. I highly recommend staying at many of the other nice hotels in the area.
