Ava's Pizzeria & Wine Bar - Rehoboth Beach

Stopped in here between lunch and dinner for a drink and a snack. Got there just about right when it opened at 4pm. No reservation. It was empty, and we were sat at a high top table. As we ate, people flowed in for dinner and some sat at the bar. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Our drinks arrived very quickly, and our food came out fast. Their "famous" meatball was really good, and we enjoyed the mozzarella and tomatoes. Drinks were also tasty. Kind of wish we had tried there for a full dinner!

In the past they did not have a vegan cheese option for pizzas, but now they do!! Our pizzas were excellent (mushroom tart pizza, mediterranean pizza).

They also offer a gluten-free crust but it is not vegan.

Happy to have vegan craft brick oven pizzas in downtown Rehoboth!

Ordered a margherita pizza and spinach dip. First, we were shocked when told it would take an hour for our order to be ready. So, we drove around for over an hour only to be told it would take another 10 minutes when we got there(took longer). If the places looked busy or short staff we would understand, but there was empty tables and staff standing around doing nothing. We walked in the front of the restaurant only to be told to walk to the back where nobody was there to greet me. We had to ask for help. Drove less than 5 minutes away to eat. There was little spinach dip and it had very little flavor. Even the bread was ok at best. The margherita pizza wasn’t even good enough for a dog. It was dry, hard to chew, and topping were sparse. We tried to feed the crust to our dog who loves pizza crust and he couldn’t eat it. This is the worst experience I have ever had in Rehoboth and will never go back.
