We always buy Bennett Orchard peaches from the farmer’s markets when we visit our friends in Delaware as they are always delicious! This visit, we went to the orchard and picked just over 24 lbs of peaches! We had a great time and the orchard was so beautiful and the trees were full of delicious peaches! Orchard staff were super friendly and helpful as we had never been peach picking before. Our friends went a few days later and picked another 14 lbs!

Visited Bennett's at Lewes Farmer's Market to get peaches. I inquired about purchasing a larger quantity then a quart (5 peaches), they said they don't do that. I must pay $7.00 for 5 peaches. I went to pick up a quart (by the container) and I was rudely told: Don't touch the fruit! So why do they display a whole table of quart containers if you can't touch them? After that comment, I decided that I will not patronize anyone with such poor customer service. I will get my produce from Fifers, even if I have to drive to Dover.

The peaches and blueberries are always a must when we go to the beach! We even have started the tradition of going to the farm and picking blueberries and peaches! So much fun and we always have to bring them home! Wish we lived closer so we could get them all summer!
