Our family of four and our little dog loved the experience of a vacationing in this beautiful home. It had everything that we needed and beyond it. The home has a state of the art Kitchen, and in fact everything there was pretty much state of the art! The upstairs loft was perfect for my husband who needed to do some work while we were away. The elevator was wonderful for bringing groceries and luggage up to the different levels of the home. Waking up to see the bay that leads into the ocean was a joy. The home was in a quiet spot, but other homes are being built across the road from the home, so the area is still developing. The beach there Was walked by other people we saw there, but we did not walk on it. There are a lot of horseshoe crabs there. The home is truly an oasis, and we are very appreciative that we were able to stay there and then enjoy peace and quiet. We needed serenity and we got it!! Also, there is a lovely restaurant called Benvenuto In Milford. It’s nice to go there to have an anniversary dinner or a special dinner!

This house is pet friendly with fenced in yard and it is perfect for the two of us and our small dog. We have rented this house many times since it has the fenced yard and is only a block to the beach. Always a nice time at Broadkill Beach and we like this rental. Now with an automatic lock you cannot check in a minute before 3:00 which is hard when we arrived a little early. The code doesn’t change until exactly 3pm. So don’t arrive early. The kitchen is well equipped and beds are comfortable. The tv was easy to operate and we had lots of choices.

The only downfall is we would love
to see the outside yard and property cleaned up a bit and pine trees cut where we park our truck. The pergola awning is mildewed and needs a good cleaning to make it operate Also the beach chairs etc all need replaced. Nothing was useable. It would be nice to not have to drag chairs, rafts and umbrellas with us. A little TLC outside would go a long way. We will be back and hope to see these changes. The house is comfy and a quaint old fashioned beach house that we love.

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent stay at Broadkill Beach. While the ocean view, quiet atmosphere, and location were excellent, several issues with the property’s condition and amenities impacted our experience. Upon arrival, we noticed scuff on the walls. More disappointingly, the grill had not been cleaned, which made cooking on Father’s Day difficult. We ended up cleaning it ourselves to ensure it was usable and to avoid any potential disputes regarding its condition. Additionally, there was a lack of clear communication regarding the outdoor shower. While I appreciate being notified that it would be unavailable on the first day, I was not informed that the repair would take two days. I had to call for an update, only to find it still broken upon returning second night so no outside shower but we did use the hoes outside. Given the rental cost, I expected all listed amenities to be in good working order. I hope these maintenance issues, particularly the outside shower and the cleanliness of the grill, are addressed for future guests.Regarding our preparations bed sheets and towels not provided so we bought the linen package. Although we brought our own houseware based on reading of the rental policies, we noted that the house was already equipped with these items. On our departure date, we ensured the property was left clean and tidy by 10:00am. While we enjoyed our time, there were several issues that were difficult to overlook.
