This is one of my go-to spots when I visit Delaware which is 1-2x per year! I have been here for dinner and lunch time. The food, menu, and service all have been consistently great! This time I ordered what I call a “traditional Southern BBQ” meal- greens, pulled chicken, and beans. It was fantastic! I really enjoy the unlimited variety and different flavors of barbecue sauce available right at the table! To me, it’s the sauce that makes a barbecue spot good! The cornbread they serve before the meal is delicious, and the butter served with it has a lightly whipped texture with a hint of sweetness. It compliments the cornbread perfectly. I have been here many times during my travels and have ordered everything ranging from salads, to traditional plates, to dessert. I am definitely a bit of a “picky” eater when it comes to barbecue, but this spot has consistently hit the mark for me in terms of expectations. It really is starting to become a place I associate with “vacation food” on my mind— that is if I am going to be in town, I am definitely going to stop and eat here!!!!

I love this restaurant and it's fun to meet others with all the TVs and it has good vibes. If u take out: check on all your food and packing bf you leave. I ordered $200+ of take out for a family meal and there was only 1 lb of meet vs 2lbs of sides and the salad got all melted n wilted bc it was on top of wings. The brisket was less than a pound and had to call about all this issues when I got home, thru all traffic so could not come back to exchange. The manager was nice & refunded but I had to go to the store after all that to get more meat for my party. It was extra stress. The picture shows how small the meat amount is next to my other food.

Pic I attached does these baby back ribs too much justice. Picked them up on mother's day- carry out order.
They didn't look great when I took a peek in the car on the way home, but no problem, I figured they're def awesome regardless.
I got home, opened them- they were still hot. But ZERO flavor outside of the sauce they slathered on top of the ribs AFTER the ribs had already been cooked.
I have baked/smoked/grilled/braised, MANY ribs over my lifetime. These came off the bone nicely, but i have never had tasteless ribs like these. Maybe it was someone's first day back there. No smoke flavor, no saltiness, nothing- just plain pork, which is usually still good all by itself with just some salt which these also did not seem to have any of.
Big eater here, and this pic is after my 3rd time eating them because they are a chore to get down the hatch
