Loved our lunch today at Big Fish. Went heavy appetizers: pot of mussels, fried shrimp and steamed clams with order of garlic bread for dipping. Food was delicious. Great service from Aubrey. Beer list could be greatly improved but found something to drink. My wife had fresh brewed iced tea. Highly recommended spot out by the factory outlets on highway 1.

It is a nice place, accoustic is not the best, even with couple guests it feels loud. Early is the key, the place is getting packed. The drinks are fair, cocktails are a little high. Food...well I was diassapointed with the Shrimp and Grits, the taste was good, the shrimp overcooked and small, the dish very soupy, so placing the garlic bread in the dish big fail..bread soaky. The combo, well veggie, again good in flavour, but dry, the potato gratin (I think Navis Potatos, they call it) we had 2 ordering them, both 3 degrees warmer than an Icecream, snow crap legs warm, not hot, 1 dish was supposed to be Crab cakes with a side salad and it came out as a Salad with the crab cakes on top, again very tasty. Overall good food, a little bit on the high side based on temp, if you like to go and get something different. Very nice place, great staff.

I have been a customer for years. Their key success was the consistency of their menus, with no major changes in recipes or menu items. However, they started doing this this year, probably due to rising ingredient costs to satisfy customers.
But why fix what isn't broken? Like their fried calamari appetizer—its new look screams fast food and boardwalk.
