After a full day at the beach, you wash off the sand at our "Sand Recycling Center," drop off your complimentary beach towels, and head up to your two-room suite. After you take a hot shower in our newly-renovated bathrooms, you walk one block in any direction to enjoy a nice dinner with the family.

Sound like a care-free vacation? We'd say so.

The location of this hotel is perfect. The rooms have sliding doors that do not open so you cannot get fresh air. There is also no way to turn the air conditioning system off so you always hear the fan turn on...like all night. The kitchen was not cleaned. There was even a used coffee pod in the coffee maker. The bathroom is tiny. The pool is very small and very loud due to the fans running top speed. Also they say it's heated in the winter but it was pretty cold.

Room was spacious and clean. I do understand the other reviews that everything is paper thin. Hearing toilets flush constantly was annoying especially in the middle of the night. Luckily our neighbors weren’t loud so we had a good nights rest. Great location. Parking garage is very small but found a spot. I saw cars use the hotel tags on the street parking, I don’t blame them. After spending so much on a hotel you don’t want to pay for parking since the hotel can’t accommodate a lot of cars. I would recommend the gamble. Just hope you have decent neighbors.

Family of three stayed a full week at Brighton Suites in a one-bedroom suite. Brighton offered everything we needed and I would highly recommend for other families. The location is the driving factor for a family to stay here. Just two blocks to the boardwalk and the main drag of shops. This made it so easy to walk back and forth between naps. There’s free on-site parking which is monitored by staff. We rarely left the area but when we did, we had no issues ever finding a space. If one lot was full, we were allowed to park in the oversized vehicle lot. We always felt safe in the hotel and walking to/from our adventures, which is important.

The one bedroom suite was clean when we arrived. Keep in mind, the hotel is old and the room is nothing fancy. But it sufficed for what we needed. We declined cleaning service during our stay, but every morning the staff was on top of cleaning all the rooms in a timely manner.

Friendliness of staff was never an issue for us. We were always greeted when we left or returned to/from our adventures. The gentleman who worked the free beach chair/towel station would open the door for us as we wheeled our stroller in with beach bags in hand. Such a little gesture but so kind and helpful, it made a positive impact on us.

Having a pool on site was perfect for a few cold mornings to allow our kiddo to get some energy out. The rooftop deck was another great feature. I recommend you order a pizza from Dalmata and eat up there one night, so peaceful and delicious.

A couple of minor suggestions. Pack a sound machine for your kids sleep times. The toilets flush super loudly and the walls don’t block out much of the party people. The rooms have a microwave, mini fridge and a sink. So packing premade meals and paper plates is a good money saver from eating out all the time.

Overall, if you’re looking for a no-frills, safe, clean, friendly, place that’s close to the beach and has free parking, Brighton is for you.
