We recently ate at the Crabcake Factory Bayside. Easily, one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I have ever had.

The food itself was very good…crab cakes were flavorful and lived up to expectations, and overall a solid meal.

Service was good. Nothing particularly memorable, but nothing terrible either.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the dining room. The dining area we were seated at was extremely hot (over 85 degrees) …needless to say it was extremely uncomfortable. We asked to move to a cooler section of the restaurant, and while there were multiple open tables available, we were told no.

Bottom line: good food, average service, but the atmosphere made it hard to enjoy. I’d hesitate to recommend this spot during the summer unless the HVAC issue is addressed

Best crab cakes I have had in a long time. Excellent that they serve them gluten free. Also enjoyed the beautiful view of the bay. Outside seating was comfortable.

I had a very meaningful experience visiting here and was immediately struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The community is incredibly inclusive, making it easy for a newcomer to feel at home and connect with others almost right away. I found the message to be both thought-provoking and practical, delivered in a way that felt relevant to daily life and encouraged a lot of positive reflection. The facility itself is well-organized and comfortable, with plenty of helpful signage and friendly volunteers available to point you in the right direction. It is clear that a lot of heart goes into the programming and the local outreach efforts. Whether you are looking for a place to grow personally or simply want to be part of an encouraging environment, this is a wonderful space to visit.
