Dewey Beach Country Club

Really enjoyed visiting this restaurant twice during our weekend stay in Dewey. They have a great sports bar atmosphere, delicious drinks, and a cute outside space that was perfect for bringing our dogs along. Thanks for a great experience!

Dewey Beach Country Club is hands down one of the best spots in Dewey! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and perfectly coastal. The bar is always lively without ever feeling overwhelming, and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. Drinks are top-notch—the most delicious espresso martinis, ice-cold beers, and a great prices for mixed drinks.

The vibe is exactly what Dewey is all about: relaxed, beachy, and full of good energy. Football season? This is the place to be.! Whether you’re stopping in for happy hour, watching sports, or just hanging out with friends, it’s always a great time. The décor and layout give it that classic “Caddyshack” feel, but with a polished twist that makes it stand out from other spots in town.

If you’re in Dewey Beach, this is a must-stop bar—perfect for both locals and visitors looking for authentic Dewey pub experience!

Over the years this bar has gone through a few owners and changed names but what hasn’t changed is the great bartenders, awesome patrons, and local vibe. The food here is terrific. The bartenders crank out drinks fast even when they are busy. Prices are all very reasonable. They have a large space out back for the warmer summer months and a small deck at the front door. They have video games and Golden Tee for those who like something to do other than watch the games on the numerous TVs around the bar. Even though this isn’t an Irish Pub anymore, the tradition of “paying the toll” by doing an Irish Car Bomb anytime you walk by still stands.
