Four Acres Living is a small alpaca farm with big ideas located in Sussex County, Delaware. We specialize in breeding and raising high-quality alpacas and making use of everything these wonderful animals have to offer–from alpaca fiber that can be spun into luxurious yarn to alpaca manure which we compost into an excellent organic fertilizer. We are committed to eco-friendly processes and strive to keep our footprint small. 

We are now offering tours, alpaca yoga, and more! We'll tell you all about our alpacas and the contributions they make. You'll also have the opportunity to shop in our alpaca boutique. 

Please keep in mind this is an authentic, working farm. It may be dusty, there may be insects, surfaces may be uneven and animals may be doing their animal thing. Please dress accordingly. Closed toe shoes and long pants are recommended.

I had a wonderful experience with the alpacas and the workers! I got a thorough run down of the farm, the history, and fun facts about alpacas. You get a bag of food to feed them. I am definitely coming back.

A friend saw them selling goods at a farmers market and learned they gave tours. We were all visiting from MA and when She told us about it we booked too! Wonderful afternoon walking Alpacas and learning so much from Jose. I highly recommend.

This alpaca experience was excellent. Elaine was our guide who is a wealth of knowledge. She explained everything to our group that we could've possibly asked for. They also have a small gift shop with unique items in it from alpaca wool to spices to soaps and socks, etc. This facility was cleaner than any hospital I have ever been in. We also learned that the alpacas are to look at and to learn and not to pet. I will definitely visit again.
