This was our first time visiting in Lewes Delaware. The staff at Hotel Rodney was so welcoming. We were greeted as welcome guest. Handed our old school room key and directed to the lift for our luggage. This get away was a much needed break for corporate life. The hotel and the town was so relaxing. Getting the history lesson was also enjoyable. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. We plan to return in the future.

Everything about the Rodney is outstanding, from the staff to the location and the accommodations, with the exception of the following- every room is comfortable and lovely, however, the rooms we had for this stay, rooms 103 and 203 the beds could definitely be improved upon. I believe perhaps a mattress upgrade for some of the rooms are in order. This is my first stay where the mattresses were not comfortable. Every other stay my family and i have had has been 100% perfect. This will not preclude me from returning , however, I will ensure to reserve the higher end suites to ensure a more comfortable bed, we LOVE your hotel .

I received a parking ticket during the 5 minutes it took to check in, which definitely put a stain on my stay here. I'd recommend skipping Lewes if you are planning a trip to the area, or if you stay here don't follow the instructions from the hotel about parking in the loading zone to check in and just go find somewhere a couple blocks away to park first and walk with your luggage to the hotel. Everything else about the hotel and room was fine.
