Kaisy's Delights

My goodness, what a great experience. The food was out of this world - both the Austrian and French dishes. The homemade add-ons (apple sauce, compote, jam, etc.) took everything to the next level. The homemade perogies were just so special, our toddler (a pretty poor eater) lost it for the Austrian pancakes, and the French sandwich with the most amazing butter and cheese took us straight back to our last trip to Paris. I had 2 latkes, but could have easily eaten my weight in them. The only hard part is having to choose what to eat off such an amazing menu. We were able to sit outside with our pup, who they brought ice and water for unprompted. Lastly, our server was so incredibly friendly and kind, and took great care of us and our little guy. We can't wait to come back!

Have been going here for the past few years, what a wonderful breakfast spot. The food is always delicious and fresh, the coffee drinks are really good and strong. Staff is friendly, and they recently remodeled which looks really nice. Yes it costs more than some cheaper breakfast spots, but if you are more concerned with quality over price, I highly recommend Kaisy's. Great value in my opinion.

Kaisy's Delights

We have come to Kaisy’s as a family for SEVEN years now, and have loved coming as a tradition every year. You know, the cute place with the pink exterior that is not trying to be fancy and serves its amazingly delicious “Kaisy” in a paper cup. Non pretentious.
For years, it has seemed like they’ve tried to get fancier and fancier, except this year they really took it too far. Instead of being able to see the back of the kitchen, they blocked it off and now only offer sit down dining with a server.
Let me say, the Kaisy is delicious. However, the food is VERY overpriced! For $20 I got a small portion of the Kaisy (think the size of one large pancake, chopped up with raisins and powdered sugar), as well as two sausage links. The latkes (I’ve read are a family recipe, which I appreciate) were tiny, and grey in color. They just didn’t hold up the way they were prepared, and they weren’t good. Every single little extra thing there is extra. Almost $2 for sour cream for example. For a small sized meal for two adults and one child, it was $50 plus tip.
I feel they really messed up when they decided to “elevate” the place and make it something fancier than what it already was. To me, the charm was ordering at the counter and sitting down, without spending a fortune. It just doesn’t make sense anymore. Feeling disappointed and sad as we’ve lost one of our favorite spots!
