Lewes Cycle Sports

We rented 2 bikes and a kid carrier from here while on vacation. The staff were very pleasant and offered suggestions for which trails to take and places to visit. We did a 4 hour rental and went to Cape Henlopen park and Fort Miles, then doubled back and rode the Lewes Georgetown Trail with a stop for ice cream at Hopkins Farm Creamery. We were able to hit all of that with about 10 minutes to spare. The bikes were in good shape and ran well. Only suggestion would be if they offered a discounted rate for week days when they're slower, that would be cool. Otherwise we were happy with the experience.

Shane and Debbie and Dan are the best!!!!! Not sure if it was Shane or Dan the first time i went two weeks ago but he was amazing, if you get anxiety about going in and asking loads of questions DONT! Not only did EVERYONE answer all my questions but i was measured on the spot and allowed to test ride multiple bikes! The first day i bought a new helmet, a light, and a few other things! It was a terrific experience, i walked away with so much knowledge and more ammo for my decision, after a week or so i returned when i met Debbie whom was extremely patient with me, answered more questions i had and in the end helped me walk away with my first ever gravel bike, new peddles, and a cool bag for my beautiful bike! Ive never been more happier with a purchase, its a lot of money to get into this sport but they all make sure your money isnt wasted and that you feel confident with your purchase! Im very grateful and plan to return to buy shoes a jersey and a few other fun things! Im already doen 30lbs and just completed my first 10mi on my new bile! I went to Lewes cycle sport to check out their bikes looking for a Domane sr 5 since it was available at other locations. I was greeted by the staff and as busy as they were they spoke with me and explained their different bikes. They had the bike I was looking for and they ask if I wanted to test ride the bike. Wow the bike is amazing and I am so pleased with the experience they give me. They said winter has been causing a slow business but I was never pressured in making the purchase. I made the decision to purchase the Domane sr 5 and now ready to put many miles on it. Thanks to Lewes Cycle Sport for a great experience
