Wow! What a great lunch experience. Service was excellent. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was light, coastal, friendly. Total win! Both meals were fairly portioned and delicious. Fish sandwich was great with the cheese. The shrimp and grits--chefs kiss! A tad spicy, very well flavored. Both drinks were also great, attentive and not hovering....a very nice experience.

We’ve been here so many times over the last 5-6 years and the food and service are ALWAYS great! Stopped in tonight with a group of 7 and expected a 1-2 hr wait (typical anywhere in the area on a Friday night in July), but only had a 15-20 min wait, and every person in our group loved their food! Everyone from the hostess and our server, to the food runners and bartenders were friendly and welcoming. We got the deviled eggs and onion rings to start, and ordered the clam strips, fried green tomato BLT, old bay wings, lobster mac and cheese, garden salad, and the scallop and shrimp pasta special. Everything was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back again soon. Can’t recommend Matt’s Fish Camp enough!

8/24/24 Update - Another great dinner at Matt’s! Got the clam strips again, sticky icky wings, crab cake sandwich, crab dip, and country fried chicken and as usual, everything was PHENOMENAL!

This was our first time trying this place and have to say that we were pretty impressed! The atmosphere and the food was outstanding. You have to try the crabby fries, they were amazing! Very well seasoned and had a generous portion of crab. Also recommend the baked oysters as they were flavorful albeit a bit on the smaller side. The deviled eggs were just okay though. We also loved the crushes and and recommend the watermelon one. You won't be disappointed. Will be back there again soon!
