Not a full time resident but make it a point to try to play here avfew times each season. Love that layout and the challenges of this classic course. That being said, conditions 2 days ago, late April do not warrant the $70 rack rate we paid. While the greens were exceptionally well groomed and rhe tees well dressed, in between on most holes was a shambles mess. I get the growth stuff about Bermuda and bent grass, but that can only apply if there's grass there to begin with! Had to literally move the ball not inches but feet on most fairway to hit approach shots. Bare dirt in some areas. And even rough had no consistency and didn't appear to have been mowed recently. Our own fault for expecting better early season conditions for rhe money paid midday, midweek. Unless rates come down to match conditions, not worth the money compared to other courses within 30 minutes.

Play golf on the ladies league on Tuesdays, nice bunch of ladies and we have a lot of fun. Staff at the restaurant are friendly, love Carlie. Sometimes the service can be slow and food is usually good.
