This spot was in the same strip as my hotel, right outside the door. First, the staff was VERY friendly, and I haven’t found that the case with many staff at other restaurants in Lewes. The mushroom soup was amazing with great broth. My server recommended the Publican bowl. I got that and added shrimp. It tasted very fresh and was filling. The list of tap beers was short but varied. It’s clear this place is popular because it filled up quickly on a Tuesday. I highly recommend Pig and Publican.

Had great lunch today with German dishes highlighted. German Potato Soup was wonderful. German Chocolate Cake was to die for! Really an excellent Pub!

Service was great! We didn't have to wait long to be seated or to order. Our food came out pretty quickly and was not only beautiful to look at, it was very flavorful. It was not too loud.
