First issue we had was going up to the 2nd floor using one of their carts. After getting out of the elevator, we faced a bunch of steps to get to the hallway leading to our room completely ruining the concept of using a cart. What were they thinking? The room was acceptable except for the amazingly tiny pillows of which I've never ever seen so small in my life. The TV stunk as the channel listing and reality didn't match. No venting in the bathroom. They may not be required to do so, but really? The complimentary breakfast was bleh. Way too much salt in everything. On checkout day, we discovered that our key cards no longer worked as we were trying to go back and forth to the car (recall that the carts are useless). After finally finding the lady who should have been at the desk (she spent more time smoking and talking on her phone outside than attending people checking out) we were let back in the room. All things considered, the next time we travel to Delaware, we will stay elsewhere, even if it costs a bit more.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ A solid 3-star stay!
If you’re looking for a place to spend a few nights with a decent bed and a clean bathroom, Quality Inn Suites in Georgetown, Delaware is a great option.

Let’s be clear — this isn’t a 4 or 5-star hotel, but I’d confidently rate it a solid 3 stars based on the quality of the bedroom, bathroom, and the affordable price.

One of the highlights for me was the continental breakfast — especially the coffee! As a coffee drinker, I was pleasantly surprised. It was fresh, hot, and just what I needed to start the day. The breakfast setup included the essentials: bread, bagels, a working toaster, and even a waffle maker — a nice touch!

There’s also a small pool, which is great if you just want to cool off and relax for a bit.

That said, don’t expect luxury — there’s no daily housekeeping, and some common areas like the hallway could use a little extra attention. Still, the staff was friendly and courteous, which made a big difference.

We stayed for two nights while exploring the area’s antique shops, wineries, and breweries, and this hotel met all our basic needs. For a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to rest — this worked just fine.

I booked online to get the cheapest room, I only needed to stay for the night before moving into my place. I know the cheapest rooms aren’t great so I knew what I was getting into.
There wasn’t any hot water and the sink sprayed water wildly when you turned on the faucet. It smelled pretty musty but mixed with the smell of soap. I could tell they attempted to clean up whatever travesties had occurred prior to my arrival but it wasn’t enough to mask the odor. It was a bit nauseating. I could’ve dealt with the sink and the smell but not having hot water was the deal breaker for me.
I paid $107 for the night; that’s not exactly chump change. I think it’s fair to expect hot water. I called the front desk to inform them about the issues and the gentleman who checked me In answered, listened, apologized, and immediately put me in a room with hot water. That’s all I could ever ask for and I appreciated his kind demeanor. Thanks again for fixing the issue.
