Sea Esta Motel 1

The location is not worth it. We had to see three different rooms before we found one that was even a little bit clean. And the room that we finally ended up staying is was incredibly humid. The front desk staff was extremely rude, and acted as if we were being unreasonable that we did not want to sleep on stained sheets. It's tempting to be near the beach, but it is definitely not worth it. Stay away

The bathroom caulking looked like it was done by a child and there was black mold in the shower faucet. There were patches and indents all throughout the walls. The room stank (like an old house) and was cold despite adjusting the temperature. One bed was so hard it couldn't be slept on (I've been more comfortable laying on a rock in the wild). The bathroom fan didn't work and the hot water cut in and out every five minutes. We were told we had a first floor room and wound up carrying things up to the third floor via stairwells. Our reservation specified a dog, but I was told at check out that the third party hadn't charged me for it so I was charged extra at check out. The cleaning lady was Awesome and Friendly, but the front desk lady didn't inspect rooms and instead went by what she could remember of what she was told after complaining she hadn't been told without asking. I literally saw her marking rooms in the computer as "inspected" even though she wasn't sure. Positives: walking distance to the beach and a nice cleaning lady. Negatives: everything else.

How does anyone stay here! The room smells like mold and mildew. The bathroom and tub look like they were fixed using plaster. The blankets felt wet and I couldn’t imagine what the bed sheets would’ve felt like. How is this place still allowed to be open! Why do people stay here! How does someone give this place 5 stars, as it doesn’t even deserve one! The location and the service can’t even make it worth staying there! I can vomit thinking about being in that room for 10 minutes before we told them we need a refund now!
