Stargate Diner

This used to be a good place to go for breakfast. Now with the staff that they have there in the morning, it is not worth it at all. I went in there for breakfast this morning, and I was the only one at the bar. They had five other people come in after me. So as I was sitting there, my food order took a while, but it was finally in. Now mind you I came in with my own coffee. Not once was, I offered a refill on my coffee, and after the server took my order, he vanished. As I was sitting there, the other people at the bar got served their food. Then I got pissed and asked where mine was She said oh I think he is pleading it up and back. I’ll go and tell him. Another four minutes went by and my food came out, cold. So not only was I given no coffee, my food came out cold. I told the manager on duty, and she said oh, I’m sorry about that. Then I went to go check out, mind you still not getting any coffee, and she charged me for everything even after I told her how bad it was and I did not get coffee. I said that’s nice to know you care she said oh if we didn’t care we wouldn’t take this and coach the server. I said well I told you I didn’t get coffee and you still charge me for it. She said oh, but I gave you a discount of 10%. I said, taking off the coffee I did not get and then replacing it with the discount that didn’t even match what I paid for the cup of coffee that I never got, that is just plain stupid. She said, but I don’t know what else I could’ve done I said you could’ve taken the coffee off and if you wanted to give me a discount on the cold food, I got you should’ve taken it off then. Then I walked out. I would never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever. Suggest going to this establishment.

This should be America's best diner! The food is delicious. We have tagged this diner as one of our favorites simply because it is. The people are friendly, there are plenty of parking and the price is always a pleasure! Holding it's values and what it stands for, a true iconic American Diner- should continue to prosper for many years to come. Can't wait to stop by again and enjoy the delicious scrapple, corned-beef hash, pancakes, french- toasts, your tasty coffee!!! "What about the bacon?" you ask. I reply with- "Yummy"!

One of my daughter's favorite places to eat! Salad bar is always fresh! Service is fast and friendly. Prices are good too! Went for a birthday dinner, and the girls were so sweet to make it special for my daughter! Personal favorite- the mini meals!
