Sun Outdoors Rehoboth Bay

We have been staying at Massey’s Landing for years, but unfortunately, since it was taken over by Sun Outdoors, the experience has gone downhill.
The prices have become outrageous. You can stay in a nice hotel for what it costs to spend a week in your own camper. On top of that, they seem to nickel-and-dime guests for everything.
We specifically reserved a site across from the family pool so it would be convenient to walk over with our kids. Before our stay, they send an email asking you to confirm your reservation, yet at no point did they mention that the family pool was closed. We didn’t find out until we arrived. We were told they were “waiting on a part,” but judging by the condition of the pool—which was black—it looked like it hadn’t been open all season.
To make matters worse, there was a speaker next to the closed pool that started playing loud bird sounds at 6:30 every morning to keep birds away. Being woken up by that every day was incredibly frustrating.
Sadly, this will be our last stay at Massey’s Landing. There are plenty of other campgrounds in the area that offer a much better experience without charging such excessive prices.

Just came home from a week stay. Loved it! We had a cabin across the street from the main campground. It was quiet and had the basic kitchen necessities. We rented a golf cart which was awesome and needed because we were away a from the beach and pools. We ate at the on site restaurant a couple of times and food was excellent. The beach, pools and bathroom are very clean. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place to stay. Stayed with our family of 28 people. Plenty of stuff to do. Cabins were great. Bed was a tad small for me but it was fine. Looking forward to staying at another Sun Outdoors property.
