I love this bagel shop. The bagels were delicious!!! The staff are friendly and helpful. There are many bagel flavors, cream cheese flavors, and coffee to chose from! I loved all the variety this shop offered. They also sell cream cheese containers to go. The jalapeño cream cheese was really good - not spicy. The bagels were soft. The cream cheese was soft and creamy. We also tried the breakfast burrito which was good as well! Next time I would order less peppers, but that is a personal choice. Overall this is a delicious spot to try for breakfast!

Do I talk about the food or the service first? They are both equally great so it’s a tough call. Let’s go with service though. I typically order ahead via their website. When I walk in, most of the staff knows me, and they quickly hand me my order and I am out the door about as fast as I walked in. Yes, this is a relatively small town and it’s not hard to learn who your repeat customers are, but they do it with a smile and smiles are contagious in the mornings. It’s a great way to start off your day. So I really appreciate it. I am a bit of a creature of habit, meaning I get the same thing just about every time. The food is always perfect and as expected. That consistency is also a great way to start the day. I appreciate the staff and everything they do. Thank you.

UPDATE: The price of the bagel sandwich I normally get has risen by $1 from $6.50 to $7.50. They are attributing it to the price of eggs increasing.

Surprisingly, we just found Surf Bagel today, and I'm not sure why we hadn't stopped by sooner! We got a pizza bagel, chicken salad, scallion cream cheese, and a garlic and Old Bay bagels. Bagels are the perfect texture of soft (not doughy), but with a very slight crisp crunch, and the flavors are on point. The atmosphere of this establishment is very happy. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, eager to assist, always busy doing something and not standing around playing on cell phones. Very fast ordering process and preparation of your "meal". I will definitely be back!
