First off— the tacos were absolutely delicious! I ordered ground beef and the seasoning was hands down some of the best I have tasted. The food was very flavorful and a cut above average with a “homemade” flavor to it, only the person making the food clearly has talent. Even the chips and the salsa offered with the chips were a culinary delight, and non-generic. The food was terrific. Next- the decor- this spot is creatively decorated and has a joyful music/slightly alternative vibe which I enjoyed. The restaurant is decorated to the nines, no detail left behind including the lighting options which included overhead lighting shaped like various instruments. The service- we were able to sit right away, but it took 14 minutes to even get a menu despite a relatively empty restaurant and what appeared to be 3 wait staff. Then, add in wait time to order, and the time spent adds up. We also had a long wait at the end to have our check collected. Normally I don’t mind waiting , but I happened to be very hungry this particular evening. This is just a heads up- maybe eat a snack before coming or anticipate a wait time if you have plans! It is also my opinion that the women’s restroom could have been a bit cleaner as well as the seating/dining area.

We had a pleasant visit, stopped by while traveling. We are a light lunch. Tried 3 different kinds of tacos. The shrimp was our favorite. The shredded beef was delicious. The ground beef was also good. I liked the hot sauces on the shredded beef. The shrimp taco was excellent as prepared. The staff was exceptional and exceeded expectations. Will definitely make a plan to stop again when on the area.

First visit. The façade looks a little intimidating from the street, but inside it's eclectic: rock, alternative, retro vibe. You can watch the tortilla maker at work behind glass, which tells you how seriously they take the basics.
As two Latinos, we approve of the house-made salsa. The beef taquitos are huge, about 12 inches long, and one was enough for us to share. My husband had the pulled pork and the Baja tacos on corn tortillas, as it should be. The tortillas held up when he picked them up, and the chipotle mayo was a good call.
I went gluten-free with a bowl over greens, topped with short rib and all the fixings. The guacamole and chips were excellent. Prices are reasonable, and the apple pie churros should be illegal. They're that good.
We went right when they opened and had a great time. We'll be back.
