What can I say? The one thing I *do* like there is the *cucarachas*—they are delicious. However, I’ve ordered tongue and tripe tacos twice now; the tongue tacos were super dry—as if they had been left cooking for far too long—and the tripe tacos were super crispy, even though I had specifically asked for them to be soft. 🤦🏻♀️ Where I definitely haven't had a pleasant experience, though, is with the service. I’m not saying everyone there is the same, but usually, the waitresses we’ve been assigned have had sour expressions, acting as if serving us were a bother. To be clear, I haven't had this bad experience *every* time I’ve visited. I believe that, as a business owner myself, the message I would convey to my employees is to always wear a smile and—above all—to be kind, regardless of a person's race or gender. I believe that we all patronize the establishment and pay for the service, so we shouldn't be treated any differently.

I absolutely love to eat here! Their food is so delicious! My very first time I came here was with my sister and nieces. I wasn’t sure what to order as I had never ate here before. I asked my niece what she was ordering and she told me she was ordering barria tacos. I have never heard of this before but I decided to go with it and order it anyway because I’m not really a picky person as long as the food is good! My goodness! When I took my first bite of this taco I swear my taste buds were dancing! I have ordered other things since my first time being there but I must say nothing can top their barria tacos in my opinion! They are juicy and flavorful! Must try!!

Came in as a single woman. Server didn't seem very engaged and it took a while to come to me. I already knew what I wanted so I ordered promptly. Not sure what she said to me because it was vwry abrupt. Mangolada menu price was 10 and some change, plus four asada tacos. I'm used to waiting for the food, so no complaint. It took about 25 minutes for the food to arrive. Server checked on me once very quickly when I was finished eating. Waited a while for the check. The server didn't say anything, just placed the check down and walked away. I noticed I was charged 17 and change for the mangolada. Took a quick picture of the menu on the table showing $10 and the check. Another Server came to take my card. Probably not coming back after this.
