The Bellmoor Inn and Spa

My mom and I recently stayed at this hotel. This hotel is beautiful, well maintained and the staff upon arrival were very nice. In addition, the room was clean and spacious. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and breakfast. However, it would be nice to have liquid soap in the rooms instead of a small bar soap. In addition, during our stay there was construction occurring that was not disclosed which interrupted our sleep as well as a beeping smoke detector in the hallway throughout the night. Also during breakfast one of the staff asked me if I checked in with the host, as if my mother and I had snuck into breakfast, ridiculous. Lastly, after checking out I was in the lobby working on my laptop and I heard a staff member at the front desk tell another guest who wanted to leave her car parked that she could for as long as she wanted. However, when I came to the front to let the same staff member know I was going for a walk and would return in a few to collect my vehicle. He immediately told me I needed to have my vehicle off the property by 1pm per their protocol, which was in 15 minutes. I reminded him of the conversation he just had with the previous customer and he basically told me I didn't hear what I heard. This conversation was disheartening therefore, I requested to speak to a manager. The manager also told me I misheard but settled with allowing us to leave our vehicle for as long as we liked. I don't know why this happened but, having to go back and forth and speak with a manager was a waste of my time and not what I look forward to when on vacation and spending my money.

Wonderful old world style hotel. Super clean. Nicely furnished. Excellent breakfast included. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Quiet location with easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. Plus lots of good restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!!

We just returned home from our inaugural stay at The Bellmoor, and we were thoroughly impressed. Our accommodations in the Newbold suite were fantastic, offering an adult-only atmosphere with excellent amenities. The morning golf cart ride down to the beach with Al was both convenient and delightful, and breakfast was delightful. Our balcony overlooking the town and the spacious suite were wonderful additions to a fantastic weekend. The location and quality of their facilities are unbeatable. As we departed, the only suggestion we could think of to enhance the experience was a more efficient toaster at breakfast. When that's the sole critique, you know it was a superb stay! We're already planning our return, this time with a larger group in tow!
