Rooms were very spacious. You could almost play basketball in here! Service was great. For the age of the hotel the rooms were pretty clean. AC filters were clearly freshly cleaned. Excellent access to beaches a short drive away. Just a really good location to go out from. Pool hours were nice and it was open until 10pm. On site gym facility. Breakfast is a plus. Parking lot was spacious.
Beds were very soft which could be a thing depending how you like your mattress. This is an old hotel and it shows. They're doing their best to maintain it but at some point you need to remodel and repair. There were small holes in the wall and carpet. AC kept switching back to auto so I woke up during the night sweating. Both our room cards died during the first day and we had to go to the desk to get them fixed. We kept the cards in the sleeve and in a backpack away from all electronic devices but they still died. Breakfast was a pretty bare bones continental.
Overall good experience for what other places were offering/ charging. With a bit of updating this place could be top tier.
