Tokyo Steakhouse

Great Japanese Steakhouse located just outside of Rehoboth Beach in Delaware. The place can be busy, so it's best to make reservations in advance. The server was very good and was constantly checking in on us. The cook was friendly, funny and made the food perfectly. The steak, chicken, and shrimp were prepared very well. The quality of food was very good, and the portions were huge. We had seven (7) people in our party, and everyone took a lot of food home with them. The prices are on the high side, but due to the large portions, it is definitely worth it.

Tokyo is a good spot with a lot of variety. Hibachi is the main focus here but they do have an area for people looking to just eat sushi. Out of all the places in the area, they probably have the most affordable sushi selection but the majority of the rolls are definitely very americanized (heavy on the deep frying and lots of cream cheese and rolls covered in spicy mayo or eel sauce).

I’ve come here many times and have gotten take out, they always do a good job and Ive never had an issue with an order.

They have a pretty expansive menu which can get a little overwhelming, especially since they have rolls and sushi specials that aren’t listed in the menu, some are on the chalkboard when you enter and others are on a separate specials menu that is on the table.

If you come for hibachi there’s usually some great entertainment from the hibachi chefs, a lot of the jokes you’d normally expect and of course some flying shrimp you need to catch in your mouth.

If you happen to come on your birthday they’ll come out with a gong and bang it a million times. Definitely not the place you’re going to for a quiet dinner.

If you’re looking for variety, good sushi and affordability, Tokyo is a great choice.

Great service, food and great atmosphere. Recommended for anyone from in and out of town!
