Other than the food, the service was great and very accommodating. This was a subpar asian steakhouse experience compared to a lot of other places that we’ve been. The hibachi ordered from the menu was pretty average, but the beef negimaki was completely overcooked. It was tough and you could barely taste the steak, Thankfully our server was very nice about it and got it refunded, but it was unbearable. Very average in general.

While known for their hibachi, their sushi is a hidden gem. My wife ordered the sushi and was impressed with the quality and presentation. The rest of us in our party sampled the traditional hibachi offerings. I had the filet mignon with shrimp. The portion was huge, and included tender filet along with succulent shrimp. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. We did have to wait several minutes to get a table despite having a reservation. Otherwise, an enjoyable dining experience.

I visited this place with high expectations due to my strong interest in Japanese cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations.
The kani salad sauce was overly salty. Even after specifically requesting a less salty option and having the soy sauce replaced by the server, it was still served extremely salty.

The sushi and appetizer platter I ordered was also disappointing in terms of taste and overall quality. The balance of flavors and execution were below my expectations. For these reasons, I do not plan to return.
